Dr. Bruce McComiskey, English professor at UAB is our speaker this month. He will talk about the historical relationship of English studies and writing (particularly tech writing) and how/why tech writing has trouble finding a supportive home in universities. He will also discuss his own challenges teaching English majors how to write technical documents.

We had to change the location to the Inverness Logan's Roadhouse on Hwy. 280, which is past the Target area and the Chick-Fil-A. We will meet in the garage area. Note that the tip will be added to our bills because we are a large group.
